You can choose whether or not to require users to identify themselves to open access controls; Automatically scan, identify, and log items along with the recipient's User ID, check-in and check-out times, and any other pertinent details you want to log; Video surveillance and other complementary ID methods can be incorporated into the system seamlessly; Combine checkout zones to create layered authentication (e.g. free‐flow materials storeroom with locked cabinets for higher‐valued items).

Flexible Identification Methods

GopherWerx Storeroom provides for user identification by a number of methods including barcode, card swipe, UHF, NFC or simply typing in a username/password. Additionally, if access management isn't a top priority, the system can be easily configured to record inventory movement without requiring a user ID.

Cycle Counts
